Your New Company:

Our client is an English fashion e-commerce company with Spanish blood in their soul. The brand was launched with the intention to play with shapes and materials without sacrificing quality, wearability or price.

Their main markets are US, UK, France & Nordics Countries. They also have stores in Barcelona, Paris & London.

They are looking for an Administrative Accounting  for their Portugal Head Office.

 

Your New Responsibilities:

Reporting to Finance and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Purchase invoice posting and supplier account reconciliation
  • Interfacing of intercompany sales and purchases
  • Intercompany statement reconciliations – issuing i/c receivable statements and reconciling i/c payables
  • Managing accounts for main goods suppliers, working with Logistics and Production teams to ensure strong price and supply controls for COGS
  • Working with other teams to ensure timely invoice approval on departmental level
  • Preparing credit card and expense posting journals
  • Raising and resolving supplier queries
  • Raising and submitting Sales Invoices
  • Preparing regular sales invoice upload files
  • Maintaining correct records of product cost prices
  • Creating and maintaining customer and supplier records
  • Paperwork filing, including digital filing
  • Assisting with office operation tasks
  • Ad hoc tasks arising within Finance and Operations functions
  • Oversee the Accounts Receivable ledger and work with the sales and wholesale operations team on invoice, credit queries and customer statement processing
  • Provide ad hoc reports on payable and receivable status
  • Perform regular checks on the internal ERP system to verify stock variances
  • Investigate with the relevant teams any discrepancies

 

What success is made of…

  • Previous experience (2 years working within a small multifunctional Finance team
  • Previous experience using SAGE
  • Good Excel knowledge (data formatting, pivot tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP)
  • Solid understanding of purchase/sales ledgers and agent relationships
  • Accountability, teamwork, problem-solving & attention to detail skills
