Our client operates and maintains the regions electricity distribution network connecting more than 5 million people to the National Grid. Its a huge responsibility calling for people with drive, ambition and resourcefulness.

Their award winning Customer Contact Centre plays a key role in ensuring our Customers are kept up to date by providing accurate and timely advice.

As a Customer Advisor you will handle customer service inbound calls within the busy contact centre ensuring accuracy and efficiency whilst providing all customers with a positive experience. 

Our customers also contact us through other channels of communication including social media, web chat and email. As a Customer Advisor you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will respond to a wide variety of enquiries.

As first point of contact you will have an adaptable approach listening to our Customers and understanding their enquires through detailed questioning. With the ability to learn new systems quickly, you will interpret data; ensure the timely resolution of customer queries and identify any issues that may require escalation.

To succeed as a Customer Advisor you will consistently ensure we delight our customers in everything we do.

This role is a night time working role, shifts starting at 19:00PM and finishing at 7:00AM working 3 days a week consecutively then having 4 days off. 

Salary £12.48PH


Previous customer service

Excellent communication skills

Use/access several systems at once – good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and data entry into our CRM);

Passionate about customer services

Can work under pressure when large volume of calls come into the contact centre – in storm or power cut/incident situations.
