Senior Compliance Manager

We are looking to appoint an established Senior Compliance Manager to drive best practice across a fast-growing Fintech company. You will be a proven and professional leader, capable of motivating and developing a Compliance team through example and ongoing Continuous Improvement

Key responsibilities include:

·Leading a highly skilled and complex Compliance and Risk Team

·Provide a Compliance and Risk service to the Directors and employees of the companies to ensure all relevant activities adhere to appropriate regulatory requirements

·Guarantee relevant regulatory requirements are met including the FCA’s Conduct Rules and Principles

·Monitor and brief senior leadership on regulatory themes and updates as appropriate

·Delivery of associated Continuous Improvement and Change Management programmes

·Developing interdepartmental relationships to support projects and strategy

Essential skills & experience:

·Demonstrable track record of successfully managing a Compliance, Risk and AML Team, ideally 5+ years’ experience

·Associated FCA Senior Management functions SMF16 Compliance Oversight and SMF17 Money Laundering Reporting Officer

• Display sound and proportionate judgement
• Commercial outlook

·Strong awareness of the FCA handbook and data protection
